FARIDABAD: Seventh Governing Body Meeting of Faridabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry was held on 2nd February at Hotel Radisson Blu, Faridabad wherein the main agenda was focused on Interim budget session 2024 and it’s impact on Industrial Sector. Chief Guest of the occasion were Sh. Raj Kumar Vohra BJP District President Faridabad and Sh. Ajay Gaur Ex PS to CM Haryana. Event was formally started by our moderator Sh. Rajat Mangla by welcoming of Our President Sh. H.K. Batra & Our Hon. General Secretary Sh. Rohit Rungta and Founder members of FCCI Sh. M.P.Rungta, Sh. Sunil Somany and Past Presidents Sh. T.C.Dhawan, Sh. Ramesh Jhawar along with other Governing body members who were present in the meeting followed by Welcome address to all members given by President Sh. H.K. Batra and our General Secretary Sh. Rohit Rungt assuring members present that FCCI is always there to provide relief to the industry by solving the problems of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises and the same has been continuously discussed in various public forums by FCCI. Sh. H.K.Batra assured that he & his team would always be available to all the members anytime & raise support to find solutions to industry problems with regular dialogue with the officials & communication with regular circulars. Sh. H.K.Batra hailed Sitharaman’s short speech as a “great budget. He said future budgets should have more emphasis on subjects like technology adoption and digital agriculture. “We should see more emphasis on technology adoption, MSMEs, women and youth participation, and digital agriculture. All these things will make us ‘Viksit Bharat’. G S Sh. Rohit Rungta Finance Minister has once again delivered a responsible, innovative and inclusive budget. This budget lays emphasis on Fiscal products and gives room for private capital investment…the FM once again lays on the foundation for a very strong path for India with due focus on areas of national importance.” Sh. Rohit Rungta also stressed assuming an approach of fiscal prudence while largely agreeing on a spending boost on infrastructure to propel economic growth. He said There should be further push in defence, space and infrastructure sectors. Hon’ble Speakers CA Sh. Sunil Garg and CA Dr. Raj Aggarwal said that interim budget presentation on Thursday has swayed the sentiments of industry leaders, who said they are happy with the government’s position on the financial roadmap of India ahead. They said it is “very prudent budget,” which lays the path for the country’s strong foundation.
Ex PS to CM Ajay Gaur said In Interim Budget, there is sufficient proof that the government will keep up its pledge to produce economic expansion. To begin with, the record capital expenditure of Rs. 11.1 lakh crore is encouraging. The Gati Shakti intervention’s planned upgrades to the transportation infrastructure corridor will increase economic activity nationwide. The emphasis on energy will boost industry confidence even further. Sh. Raj Kumar Vohra BJP District President Faridabad revealed that “Government’s forward-looking budget aligns remarkably well with the impetus required for the AI and technology sectors. The focus on digital infrastructure lays a robust foundation for innovation, and the commitment to skill development among youth mirrors the mission to empower the next generation with AI capabilities.
